The US Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis announced on June 15, 2011, that OSHA will be accepting applications for OSHA training grants totaling $4.7 million. These OSHA grants are a part of the Susan Harwood Training Grant Program, which funds training for recognition of workplace dangers by workers and employers, information about control measures, and communication of the rights and responsibilities of workers and employers under OSHA standards and regulations.
